  1. Overview:
  2.    This window is used to define the format of your pre-printed 
  3.       checks.
  4.  
  5.       Hint - Work on the horizontal (left to right) alignment 
  6.       first.  Once this is correct, fine tune the vertical 
  7.       (top to bottom) alignment.  Use blank paper and check it 
  8.       to your pre-printed forms by holding it to the light.
  9.  
  10.       In addition, you can find rulers for pre-printed forms
  11.       that measure in tenths of inches at many good office
  12.       supply stores.
  13.    
  14. Fields:
  15.    Check printing options:  
  16.       1 per page - Prints 1 check then causes a form feed to the 
  17.          next page.  This option is typically used with tractor feed
  18.          printers.
  19.  
  20.       3 per page - Prints 3 checks before causing a form feed to the 
  21.          next page.  This option is typically used with laser or 
  22.          other cut sheet printers.
  23.  
  24.       ASCII CSV - Creates an ASCII comma separated value (CSV) file
  25.          of the checks, rather than printing them directly.  Many 
  26.          word processing programs can read these files enabling you 
  27.          to print the checks with your word processor.  The output 
  28.          file is named CHECKS.TXT.
  29.  
  30.       None - No checks will be printed, though all bills will be 
  31.          updated and paid.  Use this option if you want to write
  32.          your own checks or are testing this program.

  34.    Check size in inches:
  35.       Length - Enter the length (top to bottom) of a single check.
  36.   
  37.       Width - Enter the width (Left to right) of a single check.
  38.  
  39.       Font - Select the desired printer font from the list box.

  41.    Check field placement:
  42.       Inches from top - For the associated check field, enter the 
  43.          inches and fractions of inches (ie. 1.25) measured from the
  44.          top edge of the check to the point where this field should
  45.          start printing.

  47.       Inches from left - For the associated check field, enter the 
  48.          inches and fractions of inches (ie. 1.25) measured from the
  49.          left edge of the check to the point where this field should
  50.          start printing.

  52.       Font size - For the associated check field, select the desired
  53.          printer font size.  Note that different check fields can 
  54.          be printed with different size fonts, so that they will 
  55.          align on the pre-printed forms.

  57.    Special Options:
  58.       4 digit year - This option determines whether the date printed
  59.          on the check will include the "19" portion of the year.  If
  60.          your pre-printed checks include the "19", do not select this
  61.          option.

  63.       Print address - This option indicates whether the company address
  64.          will be printed on the check, just below the name.  Check 
  65.          this option to print the company address.
  66.  
  67.       Print dollars - This option indicates whether to print the word
  68.          "DOLLARS" following the amount in words.  If your pre-printed
  69.          checks include this word, do not select this option.

  71.       Description - This option determines whether the bill description
  72.          or your account number will be printed as the "Memo/For" field.
  73.          Check this option to print bill descriptions, do not check 
  74.          it to print account numbers.

  76. Buttons:
  77.    OK - Save the check format.  This window will remain active, so 
  78.       that you can use the "Options - Setup Printer" menu option  
  79.       to print a test check with the new format.

  81.    Cancel - Return to the "Print Checks" window, do not save any 
  82.       information not "OK'ed" so far.

  84. Menu Bar:
  85.    File:
  86.       Exit - This option is disabled.  You must return to the 
  87.          previous window using "OK" or "Cancel".
  88.  
  89.    Options:
  90.       Setup Printer - Prints a "void check" on your printer, to 
  91.          help test your check format.
  92.  
  93.    Windows:
  94.       Bank Accounts - This option is disabled, you must return to
  95.          the previous window using "OK" or "Cancel".
  96.  
  97.       Catagories - This option is disabled, you must return to 
  98.          the previous window using "OK" or "Cancel".

  100.       Check Register - This option is disabled, you must return to 
  101.          the previous window using "OK" or "Cancel".

  103.       Company Information - This option is disabled, you must return 
  104.          to the previous window using "OK" or "Cancel".

  106.       Enter Bills - This option is disabled, you must return to
  107.          the previous window using "OK" or "Cancel".

  109.       Pay Bills - This option is disabled, you must return to
  110.          the previous window using "OK" or "Cancel".

  117.          corrective actions.
